How can I trust that which is unseen?

The English word “faith” is defined as “firm belief even in the absence of proof.”

The Hebrew word for faith, Emunah, is directly connected to the steadfastness and truth of the “God of Amen” who has proved his faithfulness to us.

Observe.

The shadow proves the sunshine.

The echo proves the sound.

The steam proves the heat.

The watermark proves the flood.

The flag waving proves the wind.

The falling stone proves the gravity.

How can I believe in a God I cannot see?

Heaven reveals His glory.

The Son proves the Father

The Cross proves His love.

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” -Hebrews 11:1

AMEN

Prayer: Provider and Lord, How I rest in your provision and your faithfulness. We stand in a long line of believers who have been faithful through the ages. I pray to know the faith which is filled with hope in things not seen. Amen
