Do something, do not just sit there. Isn’t that the message of Christmas heard on the street?
What if instead of doing something, we were to be something?
Be a dwelling for God. Be a light in the darkness. Be the good in the presence of evil. Be in the now and not yet.
In Nazareth, there was a young virgin named Mary, an ordinary citizen, to whom an angel appeared and told her she had found favor with God. She may have thought, “What must I do?” But Luke records this young woman, Mary, asking the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”

Mary offered space in herself for God to dwell and be born into the world. She created holy ground by believing and rejoicing in God her Savior, even in her lowly state. She was on her own and humbly accepted to conceive the fruit of salvation.
I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her. Luke 1:38
Be what you are called to Be.
Prayer:
“…my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior…and holy is His name.” Luke 1:47,49
