“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” -Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894), Scottish novelist, essayist, poet
There is nothing too hard for God to do. The possibilities of prayer are linked to the infinite, omnipotent power of the Lord. When a person prays, it is realizable that every part of his being unites with God in prayer. God desires people who are whole-hearted and true for his service and the work of praying.
Prayer is connected to the entire being of the person.
The power is not in the prayer or the Pray-er, but in the Almighty God with whom we petition.
Direct your entire self, not a single part left out, to the glory of God, not merely your personal benefit. Thereafter, call upon the Power that has no limit.
“But it is good for me to draw near to God;
I have put my trust in the Lord God,
That I may declare all Your works.”
-Psalm 73:28 NKJV
Prayer:
We thank you, O God! We give thanks because you are near. People everywhere tell of your wonderful deeds. You, O God, are my king from ages past, bringing salvation to the earth. Help me to give my entire self to you and remain my strength. Amen (-from Psalm 74,75)
