It is fitting for the upright to praise him.” -Psalm 33:1 

Did you ever wear a pair of shoes that did not fit? Were they too tight or rubbed your heel when walking? It can be a complete disaster when on vacation or walking a far distance.

Praising God always fits the day. 

There are many demonstrations and instances of God’s goodness on this earth. How sad it be so empty of his praises. Multitudes live confronted by His grace and few live glorifying His name. 

Christians are to respond to God in thankful praise in a language of holy joy. 

Try fitting your praise into the day as many times as possible. It is a proper expression of faith and gratitude. 

Prayer: 

Lord God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth,

I praise you because you are trustworthy and true. You are the Way, the Truth and the Life. I praise you for your infinite greatness and goodness. Teach me to walk in your ways, respecting and honoring you in all that I do.  I lift my voice in exaltation knowing you are King of Kings and Lord of Lords. 

To you be the glory forever and ever. Amen
